Grande Ponds - Installation Available

Grande systems are exclusively designed for large-scale commercial and residential projects. Capable of handling flow rates of up to 20,000 gallons per hour, these systems make tackling large projects easy. Grande systems are perfect for large retention ponds, golf courses, entrances to subdivisions or wherever a dramatic waterfall or heavy-duty filtration is needed. Used in tandem, a waterfall almost nine feet across can be created, with the skimmer capable of handling debris up to 12" in length. These systems are customized and not sold as ready-made kits. We will be pleased to work with you, however, to develop a kit to fit your exact needs.

Aquascape Pond Kits Contain 20 Components

1. Skimmer - The skimmer deposits surface debris in an easy-to-remove bag and breaks the water' s surface tension for a cleaner pond.

2. BioFalls® Biological Filter - The Biofalls® filter disappears from view by becoming a waterfall! Bacteria live inside, cleaning the water. The filter requires only annual cleaning.

3. Pump - The high efficiency pump included with each kit provides the best value for the money. These high efficiency pumps are strongly recommended, however less expensive pumps are available upon customer request.

4. Liner - EPDM liners have a 20-year manufacturer' s guarantee -- cover the liner with stone and expand the life expectancy indefinitely.

5. Underlayment - The underlayment acts as padding for the liner and is woven to allow gasses to escape from beneath the liner.

6. PVC Flex Pipe - The PVC flex pipe provides the plumbing connection from the skimmer to the BioFalls® . It is easy to install and extremely flexible.

7. Underwater Lights - The underwater lights extend the enjoyment of your pond into the evening hours. All lights are equipped with an automatic timer which can be pre-set or used automatically. 

8. Bacteria - Special bacteria are provided to help start and maintain the health of your pond. The bacteria keep the water clear by adding to the bacterial colonies on the filers and stones.

9. Check Valve - The check valve allows easy pump removal while preventing the BioFalls® from draining when the electricity is turned off.

10. Waterfall Stone - The waterfall stone is perfectly sized and shaped to fit on the BioFalls® snout to form a natural waterfall.

11. Skimmer Rock and Lid - The skimmer rock/lid is designed to naturally camouflage the skimmer top and is lighter than similarly sized stone for easy access to the skimmer.

12. Filtration Media - The specially designed filter media provides high surface area for bacteria to colonize and clean the water.

13. Skimmer Bag - The skimmer bag catches large debris and allows for easy removal of waste.

14. Filter Support Tubes - The filter tubes act as a base for the filter material while strengthening the filter walls.

15. Bulk Head Fitting -These fittings form a watertight seal in the skimmer, overflow and BioFalls® hook-up.

16. Liner Patch - High quality and heavy duty water patches are designed to provide a watertight seal in the liner in the event of an accidental hole.

17. Expanding Foam - The waterfall foam expands and seals cracks between stones and Biofalls® /liner, allowing the water to be diverted over the stones rather than underneath them.

18. Silicone - This food-safe silicone forms a watertight seal between the BioFalls® snout, skimmer and liner.

19. PVC Glue and Primer - Specially designed for flexible PVC pipe, this glue and primer bond the PVC pipe to the couplings in the BioFalls® .
